A Message from Our Pastor
Dear Friends and Visitors,
I want to share with you the most wonderful news - the good news of the Gospel! Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth, lived a perfect sinless life, and died on the cross for our sins. Through His sacrifice, we can have forgiveness, peace with God, and eternal life.
Everyone is welcome here. No matter where you've been, what you've done, or what questions you have about faith - our doors and hearts are open to you. God loves you, and so do we.
At Evangelical Berean Church of God, we believe in the transformative power of God's Word. Like the noble Bereans in Acts 17:11, we receive the Word with readiness of mind and search the scriptures daily. We are committed to biblical truth, loving fellowship, and reaching our community with the Gospel.

Our Heritage
Evangelical Berean Church of God is rooted in the rich tradition of biblical Christianity. Our name reflects our commitment to the Berean spirit - noble believers who received God's Word eagerly and examined the scriptures daily to verify the truth.
Our Mission
We exist to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ through biblical preaching, teaching, and fellowship. We are committed to loving our neighbors, serving our community, and proclaiming the Gospel to all nations.
Our Community
Located in the heart of Brooklyn, we are blessed to serve a diverse community with people from many backgrounds. We believe that the Gospel transcends all barriers and creates one family in Christ.
Our Vision
To be a lighthouse of biblical truth and Christian love in Brooklyn and beyond, equipping believers to live faithfully for Christ and reach the lost with the life-transforming message of the Gospel.
Our Statement of Faith
These fundamental truths guide our beliefs, teaching, and practice as a church.
The Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, written by holy men of God as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. It is our final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
The One True God
We believe in one eternal God, existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - three Persons in one divine essence, co-equal and co-eternal.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to heaven where He intercedes for us.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates those who believe, and indwells all believers to guide them into truth and empower them for Christian living and service.
Humanity and Sin
We believe humans were created in the image of God but fell into sin through Adam's disobedience, resulting in spiritual death and separation from God for all humanity.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We are justified by His blood, regenerated by the Holy Spirit, and receive eternal life as a gift from God.
Eternal Destiny
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people - believers to eternal life with Christ in heaven, and unbelievers to eternal separation from God.
The Church
We believe the Church is composed of all true believers in Jesus Christ, forming the body of Christ on earth, called to worship, fellowship, discipleship, and evangelism.
Spiritual Warfare
We believe Satan is real and actively opposes God's work, but he is defeated and limited by God's sovereign power. Victory over sin and Satan comes through Christ.
Creation
We believe God is the sovereign Creator of all things, and that He sustains and governs His creation according to His perfect will and purpose.
Sanctity of Life
We believe human life is sacred and precious to God from conception to natural death, as all people are created in the image of God.
Marriage and Sexuality
We believe marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God as the foundation of family and society.
Future Hope
We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ to establish His kingdom on earth, followed by the eternal state where God will dwell with His people forever.
